An Armstong Creek woman has confessed she hasn’t been able to wipe the smile off her face, stuck in a surreal state of disbelief ever since discovering she’d won $150,000 on an Instant Scratch-Its ticket.
The Geelong resident’s winning $10 Crosswords Triple Instant Scratch-Its ticket was purchased at NewsXpress Armstrong Creek, Shop 3, The Village Warralily Shopping Centre, 3-33 Central Boulevard, Armstrong Creek.
“I’ve been in complete shock!” she said when an official from The Lott rang to confirm her prize.
“It just hasn’t felt real. I don’t think we’ve stopped smiling.
“It felt surreal going into The Lott head office and claiming our prize.
“I’ve been playing Instant Scratch-Its tickets for a little while now. I usually only buy one ticket at a time, but this recent time, I purchased two tickets, and that led me to the winning one.
“I’m very happy I did that. It paid off.”
With $150,000 set to boost her bank account, the winning woman confessed the prize had landed at a great time.
“We’ve got a lot of house renovations to do, so this is just great timing!” she said.
“Thank you so much! We’re still in shock.”
