An Attwood grandmother is already plotting to surprise her hubby with his dream car after pocketing a whopping $3 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The north Melbourne resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4647, drawn Saturday 31 January 2026. She takes home $3,085,971.02.
The other division one winning ticket in the TattsLotto draw was held by a 10-person group syndicate, set up by Prahran Market Lotto Tobacco & News, Shop 817, 183 Commercial Road, Prahran.
“Oh my god! Oh my god!” she exclaimed when an official from The Lott confirmed the win.
“I had no idea - none whatsoever! Thank you very much! Oh my god!
“I can’t wait to call my husband and tell him. He will have a heart attack!
“I was looking through my texts and emails this morning, and I had noticed that I received a prompt to check my TattsLotto ticket. I thought it was a scam as I only ever win $15.
“You always think about all the things that you would do if you had won big, but now that it’s happened, my mind is just spinning everywhere!”
When asked how winning $3 million would change her family’s life, the new multi-millionaire excitedly revealed that she couldn’t wait to make her husband’s dream come true.
“You know what, my husband has always wanted a BMW and I’d like to buy him that dream BMW!” she shared.
“I also have adult children and grandchildren. My greatest joy in life is being a grandmother, and I’d love to help them all.
“Thank you!”
Her winning 50-game QuickPick entry was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4647 on 31 January 2026 were 20, 45, 42, 9, 34 and 33, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 7.
