A merry band of 10 Bankstown shoppers will be laughing all the way to the bank this week after their syndicate scored division one in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The store syndicate held one of the nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4247, drawn Saturday 2 April 2022. Each entry scored a division one prize of $606,766.84.
In addition to the division one win, the syndicate’s System entry also won division three 4 times, bolstering the total prize to $610,116.34. Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $61,011.63.
Shares into the winning syndicate were sold at Supanews Xpress Bankstown, Centro Bankstown, Cnr North Terrace and Lady Cutler Avenue, Bankstown.
However, as the syndicate members were unregistered, they may have yet to discover their division one winning news. Players are being urged to check their tickets today.
Supanews Xpress Bankstown team member Shahida Khan said it was great to see another division one win in their store.
“I couldn’t believe it when I heard our outlet had sold a division one winning syndicate,” she said.
“We have been running this syndicate for quite a few years. We are so happy for our syndicate members – some of them are regular members.
“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in February last year. This is an exciting time for our store and customers. Let’s hope we will sell division one again soon.
“Congratulations and all the best to our winners.”
The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said he encouraged anyone who purchased a syndicate share into the recent Saturday Lotto draw to check their entries as soon as possible.
“Each syndicate member won more than $600,000! What a great way to start the week,” he said.
“If you purchased a Saturday Lotto syndicate ticket from Supanews Xpress Bankstown, today’s the day to check it! If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call us on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4247 on 2 April 2022 were 6, 27, 21, 1, 15 and 4, while the supplementary numbers were 41 and 19.
Across Australia, there were nine division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4247 – four from New South Wales, two from Queensland and one each from Victoria, Tasmania and South Australia.
