A Bega woman is beaming after scooping up a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win and has declared she’ll be pampering her furry companions with some of the prize.
The Sapphire Coast resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11036, drawn Monday 25 August 2025.
So far in 2025, there have been 20 major lottery wins in the Illawarra and Southeast region that have collectively taken home more than $9.57 million in prize money.
Completely unaware of her newfound fortune, the winning woman got the surprise of a lifetime when an official from The Lott called to deliver the marvellous news late yesterday afternoon.
“Oh my god! Thank you!” she exclaimed.
“You don’t know how exciting this is for me!
“I had absolutely no idea. I nearly didn’t answer your call too!
“I play lotteries once a fortnight – it’s something I treat myself too.
“I’m in so much shock. I honestly don’t know what to say.
“I’m at home today. I might have to celebrate the win later tonight!”
When asked how she planned to spend her $100,000 windfall, the New South Wales woman could barely string a sentence together through her excitement, but she did manage to hint that her beloved pets might be in for some extra pampering.
“Honestly, I have no idea. I do have too many animals. Maybe they’ll get some of the prize!” she laughed.
“I will have such a lovely day today. Thank you!”
Her winning entry of six consecutive numbers was purchased at Cignall Bega, Shop 1, 187-191 Carp Street, Bega.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $11.92 million for draw 1715, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $1.67 million for draw 11037.
In FY25, 182 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot Prize winning entries across Australia won more than $20.5 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
