A Tarneit woman has had a welcome Friday afternoon surprise discovering she won $100,000 on the first Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket she’s ever bought.
The Victorian player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10308, drawn Friday 30 August 2019.
Speaking with a Tatts official this afternoon to confirm her win, the Melbourne woman explained she had just finished work and discovered the news.
“That is unbelievable!” she said.
“What a lovely way to finish work and a nice surprise for the weekend.
“This is the first ticket I have ever bought.
“Hell no I didn’t expect this.
“I am going to sleep well tonight!
“I’m just over the moon!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the happy woman admitted she had her sights set on a holiday to Japan.
“I will celebrate this weekend with a nice dinner,” she said.
“I want to go to Japan next year. It’s beautiful there.
“I don’t know what the hell I will do with the rest of it.”
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry of five random numbers online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.24 million for draw 1449 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.62 million for draw 10309.
