With just over 24 hours until the country’s next Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw, Aussies dreaming of finishing the weekend as millionaires are contemplating what type of entry could deliver them a life-changing prize.

Superdraws are renowned for creating more millionaires than any other lottery draws and this year’s four Superdraws have lived up to expectations.

So far in 2019, 35 division one winners have been created and 30 millionaires crowned across the Lott’s jurisdictions thanks to the four Superdraws. Together these division one winners have shared a massive $80 million in division one prize money.

Ahead of tomorrow night’s Saturday Lotto $20 Million Superdraw, the Lott has crunched the numbers and can reveal the winning entry types that scored division one prizes in Superdraws so far this year.

  • Of these 35 division one winning entries, just over half were QuickPick entries, where the numbers were randomly generated by the lottery terminal. It was the 12-game Quickpick that delivered the most winning smiles over the last four Superdraws.
  • Sixteen of the country’s newly-minted millionaires can thank their special numbers for their division one fortunes. This group of winners opted for a marked entry, picking their own numbers based on birthdays, anniversaries and other numbers close to their hearts. It was a 15-game marked entry that most commonly took home division one.
  • Almost half of the country’s newest division one winners also chose to play a  System entry.  System entries give players the option to play more numbers per game. The most popular System entry amongst our 2019 division one Superdraw winners was a 10-game marked System 10 entry.

With $20 million ready to be shared among Australian lottery players tomorrow night, the Lott spokesperson Lauren Cooney said she couldn’t wait to speak to the country’s newest group of millionaires.

“I have the great pleasure of breaking this life-changing news to many of our Superdraw division one winners,” she explained.

“There’s certainly some reactions I will never forget. I got hold of one mum on the Gold Coast while she was shopping to tell her she’d won $3.33 million in May’s Superdraw and she just about screamed down Kmart when I broke the news to her.

“Like so many of our players, she told me she’d be spoiling her family with her life-changing prize and her and her husband could finally just relax.

“Whether you decide to mark your entry with your favourite numbers for Saturday night’s draw or let the lottery terminal do the work, make sure you grab yourself a ticket so you have a chance to receive that life-changing phone call.”

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 193 millionaires across Australia.

The $20 Million Saturday Superdraw, Saturday Lotto draw 3977, will take place on Saturday 31 August 2019.

Tickets can be purchased at any licensed lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via the Lott mobile app.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2019, there were 244 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $286.6 million.

The Lott’s division one winning tally across all Australian lottery games has now reached 245 so far this calendar year.
