A Belconnen woman is excited to spend time relaxing and enjoying her retirement after discovering she won $200,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The ACT woman won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1364, drawn Tuesday 25 June 2019.
When a NSW Lotteries official called the woman this afternoon to confirm the win, she admitted the news came as a welcome surprise.
“Thank you very much!” she laughed.
“I am very, very happy!
“I am excited to tell my husband. I am sure it will come as a great surprise to him too.
“We will have to go out for dinner tonight to a nice Chinese restaurant to celebrate.”
When asked how she planned to user her prize, the happy woman said it would help make their retirement more enjoyable.
“It has come at a great time,” she admitted.
“We will use it to relax a bit more and just enjoy our retirement.
“We won’t be worrying about money so much and will be able to do more things.”
The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning entry at Nextra Belconnen, Shop 211, Westfield Shoppingtown, 18 Benjamin Way, Belconnen.
Nextra Belconnen owner Tom Wang said he was thrilled to have sold a major prize to one of his customers.
“We are thrilled for our customer,” he said.
“We wish her all the best with her prize.
“Hopefully we sell some more major prizes to our customers soon.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $76.60 million for draw 1366 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.93 million for draw 10296.
