A Cairns woman is thanking her recent decision not to change her special set of numbers she’d been using on her Saturday Gold Lotto ticket after they delivered her more than $1 million in the weekend’s draw.
The Far North Queenslander held one of the six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4613 on Saturday 4 October 2025. Each division one winning entry scored $1,033,022.26.
“I only found out at 6am this morning when I checked my ticket!” the woman exclaimed when speaking to an official from The Lott yesterday.
“I didn’t believe it, so I had to phone my daughter and get her to check it.
“I still couldn’t believe it!
“I’ve been playing these numbers for four or five years. They’re mainly family birthdays.
“Actually, I was going to take a number off the other week, but I didn’t. I’m glad I didn’t!
“A million dollars will certainly help big time!
“We’d love to buy a caravan and do a lap around Australia.
“After this, I’m going to buy a bottle of Bollinger to celebrate!”
The woman’s winning entry was purchased at Nextra Redlynch Central Newsagency, Shop T21, Redlynch Central Shopping Centre, 7-15 Larsen Road, Redlynch.
Nextra Redlynch Central Newsagency owner Lisa Dunkley said she was thrilled her outlet had sold it’s first division one winning entry since she took over ownership five years ago.
“You have no idea how exciting it is! We’ve had the outlet for five years and we’ve had many division two wins, so it’s great to finally get a division one win!
“We are very happy for our customer. It’s incredible to play a part in their life-changing win.
“Let’s hope it happens again soon.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4613 on 4 October 2025 were 42, 3, 32, 10, 2 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 11.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4613 – three in Western Australia, two in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 323 so far in 2025, including 76 won by Golden Casket customers.
In FY25, Saturday Gold Lotto created 165 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 341 division one winning Saturday Gold Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $420 million.
