The latest Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot 1st Prize has landed in the hands of an Ulladulla man, who shouted ‘bloody bingo’ when he realised he’d won $200,000.
The New South Wales man won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1202, drawn Monday 21 January 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man revealed he had just discovered his good fortune after checking his entry online.
“I always check my tickets first thing in the morning,” he explained.
“And I initially thought I had won a free ticket from my Lucky Lotteries entry but when I looked little closer, bloody bingo, I’d won $200,000!
“I had to keep going back and double checking to make sure it wasn’t all a dream.”
The New South Wales winner said he’d been playing Lucky Lotteries for as long as he could remember but had never won a prize of this size.
“I’ve never won anything like this before,” he laughed.
“It will definitely come in handy, I can tell you that.
“I’ve been wanting to do some home renos and I’ll take a holiday somewhere in Australia to celebrate!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of two random numbers at Bawley Point Newsagency, Shops 3-4, 87 Voyager Crescent, Bawley Point.
Bawley Point Newsagency owner Tracey Hatch said it was the first time her outlet had sold a 1st Prize winning entry.
“My little Bawley Point store selling a 1st Prize winning entry is so hard to believe, but I couldn’t be more excited,” she laughed.
“Our small town expands to over 20,000 during the holiday period so I am so happy for either the resident or visitor who has won this amazing prize.
“May all their wishes and dreams come true!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $37.48 million for draw 1203 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $2.84 million for draw 10268.
