A Braybrook man believes his ritual of imagining a happy, healthy and wealthy life in his old family home when he purchases his TattsLotto tickets has delivered him an $834,000 division one prize.
The Victorian held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4175, drawn Saturday 24 July 2021. Each division one winning entry takes home an $834,643.56 prize.
Speaking with an official from The Lott, the deliriously happy winner relayed how his division one win came to be.
“I had just finished the graveyard shift when I checked my ticket on The Lott app,” he explained.
“I was blown away! I couldn’t believe it!
“There was no way I was going to be sleeping after seeing that. It’s amazing!
“I’ve been playing for decades, but I have never won division one. So I actually just developed a new system for buying my tickets, and it seems like it’s come through for me!
“See, when I was young, I grew up in a beautiful family home in Preston. So every now and again, I drive back to that home. I stare at the house and dream about living in it again, and then I go to a newsagency in the area, and I buy my TattsLotto ticket.
“So It’s really incredible I have won because it feels like it was meant to be!
“It’s just lifted the weight completely off my shoulders and made this year so much better.”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the Melbourne local said the win allowed him to dream of bigger and better things.
“It’s given me complete financial freedom,” he explained happily.
“It’s going to allow me to really, really enjoy my life.
“Some will also go towards my future retirement, and who knows, maybe I will buy my family home in the future!”
His winning entry was purchased at Gilberton News Post & Lotto, 552 Murray Road, Preston West.
Gilberton News Post & Lotto owner Xuan Zu said the outlet was proud to have made one of their customers a division one winner.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4175 on 24 July 2021 were 30, 12, 26, 16, 40 and 27, while the supplementary numbers were 13 and 15.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4175 – three from Victoria and one each from Tasmania, Queensland, New South Wales and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 254 so far this calendar year, including 99 won by Tatts customers.
In 2020, TattsLotto created 122 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 312 division one winning in TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $355.13 million.
