Ten Preston locals are looking forward to enjoying a prosperous second half of 2021 after the syndicate they’ve been playing for almost a decade scored more than $882,000 in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.

The store syndicate held one of the seven division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4175, drawn Saturday 24 July 2021. Each division one winning entry takes home a $834,643.56 prize.

In addition to winning division one, the syndicate’s entry also scored division two 2 times, division three 37 times and division six 4 times, boosting their total windfall to $882,112.21

Each of the 10 syndicate members receives a share worth $88,211.23.

The winning syndicate was from Plenty Luck News & Lotto, Shop 7, 50 Plenty Road, Preston.

Plenty Luck News & Lotto manager Lynn Oh said she was so happy to see 10 local customers enjoy a division one win.

“I can’t believe it! Finally! We have waited for two years to sell another division one winning entry. And not only is it a division one winning entry, but it’s a syndicate, so there’s not just one, but 10 happy customers,” she explained.

“When I first heard the news, I thought, ‘Are you serious? Is it really my syndicate that sold division one?’. I was blown away.

“We have decorated the store with streamers, balloons and a banner. We will also be sharing this good news with all of our customers.

“The last time we sold a division one winning entry was in 2019. We have run the store for 10 years and this is our twelfth division one win.

“Thanks to all of those who have supported us over the years. The majority of these winners have been playing this syndicate for about a decade, so we are thrilled they’ve had a big win!

“We can’t wait to sell more tickets and big dreams and are hopeful we will have another major win soon, with the next big chance being this weekend’s $20 million Superdraw.”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said some syndicate members may have yet to make the exciting division one discovery.

“We know some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune and are kickstarting the new week knowing they have a hefty boost coming into their bank account,” she said.

“However, others are starting their working week completely obvious to their win. Previous syndicate winners have told us there’s no better cure for Mondayitis than discovering a TattsLotto win.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their player cards, there are some syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the recent TattsLotto draw, today’s the day to check it!  If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
