A Brighton-Le-Sands mother has declared her $100,000 win in the recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw is the end of her string of ‘bad luck’.

The Southern Sydneysider won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10511, drawn Thursday 16 December 2021.

So far in 2021, there have been 10 major prize winning Lucky Lotteries entries in the Southern Sydney region collectively worth more than $1.20 million.

The merry woman was oblivious to her good fortune and was busy at work when an official from The Lott called to reveal the life-enhancing news.

“What the hell?! I can’t believe it!” she said.

“How amazing. It’s truly a blessing.

“I’ve always said, ‘something will happen if you sit tight and be patient’, and it has paid off.

“In the past year or so, I’ve had a lot of bad luck happen. It’s nice to end the year on a high note.

“I rang my father straight away because I wasn’t sure if your phone call was real. He said to me, ‘what! Is this real? I knew you had it in you’.

“This is fantastic!”

With $100,000 heading her way, the elated women said she knew exactly how she’d enjoy it.

“Firstly, I’ll put some of the prize in my bank. I do also need a new car, so that will be the next on my list,” she shared.

“I’ll definitely help my children out and save the rest of the money that is left over.”

Her winning entry of three random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $5.56 million for draw 1554, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.31 million for draw 10512.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, 136 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $46.09 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who scored a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May 2021.
