A north Brisbane mum is now almost two million dollars richer after her deceased grandmother visited her in a vivid dream and told her a series of numbers.
The superstitious player held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3975 on Saturday 24 August 2019, with each entry taking home a division one prize of $1,970,451.87.
Confirming her win with a Golden Casket official this morning, the woman explained how the winning combination of numbers had come to her.
“Oh my god. Now it’s kind of real!” she cried with happiness.
“This is very surreal. It is unbelievable.
“I checked my ticket on Saturday night and just could not believe it. I went straight to sleep, woke up on Sunday morning, and thought it had been a dream!
“The numbers came to me in a dream!
“I had a very vivid dream about six months ago and my grandmother gave me these numbers. They all meant something special to her.
“I woke up in the middle of the night from the dream and emailed the numbers to myself.
“Now six months later they appear! It’s amazing!”
The hardworking mum revealed she wouldn’t be retiring any time soon.
“This will give me so much freedom!” she exclaimed.
“I love my job but just knowing I don’t have to keep working is an amazing feeling.
“I’ll be able to really spoil my family and take them travelling.
“I’ve always loved animals so I would love to work with wildlife all over the world!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning marked 12 game entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3975 on Saturday 24 August 2019 were 33, 9, 10, 4, 32 and 11, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 23.
