A Camden Park couple have described the moment they discovered they won a $50,000 Keno prize as ‘fizzy, bubbly and colourful’.
The South Australians held a Keno Spot 8 winning entry in draw 2602604 on Tuesday 17 March 2020 and take home $50,000.
Confirming their win with an official from the Lott this afternoon, the happy pair relived the moment they discovered they won the exciting prize.
“We were just eating dinner, watching the screen and we saw our numbers come up,” the winning woman explained.
“We were very excited!
“We screamed ‘hoorah!’. It was a very fizzy, bubbly and colourful moment!
“I felt like popping a party popper!
“We were out with our friends and they were all congratulating us.
“We shouted everyone drinks and celebrated with them.
“I will go out for dinner to celebrate with my husband tonight. We are going to one of our favourite restaurants by the beach.”
When asked how they planned to enjoy the windfall, the overjoyed winners said they would put it towards future travel plans.
“We recently got a caravan, so we might travel around Australia next year,” she explained further.
The happy winners, who wish to remain anonymous, purchased their winning Keno Spot 8 entry at Morphetville Junction, 470-472 Anzac Highway, Camden Park.
Morphetville Junction senior duty manager Justin Smith said they were thrilled for the winning couple.
“We are extremely happy!” he said.
“Everyone was so happy for the winners. Everyone was cheering. It was such a great time!
“The win goes to good winners, so we couldn’t be happier for them.”
