Three days after the winning Lotto numbers were drawn, a Campbelltown retiree this morning was shocked to discover he’s now a millionaire.
The southern Sydney resident held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4120 on Monday 11 October 2021.
There have been seven division one wins in South-Western Sydney so far this year worth $61.4 million.
“I was going to check my ticket today anyway, but then I got a letter. That’s how I found out I’m a millionaire,” the winning man shared when speaking to an official from The Lott.
“It’s a bit of a surprise. I’ve been playing Lotto probably all my adult life.
“I don’t know if I ever thought I’d win the big one, but you’ve always got to look on the bright side, I suppose.
“It’s certainly made my day!
“A few other people in the family will be happy I’ve won too, as I’ll be sharing it with them. But we’ll worry about that when it gets into the bank account!
The winner’s 6-game QuickPick entry was purchased at newsXpress Campbelltown, Macarthur Square, 200 Gilchrist Drive, Campbelltown.
It’s the second division one winning entry sold by newsXpress Campbelltown so far this year.
The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4120 on Monday 11 October 2021 were 18, 26, 31, 41, 42 and 16, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 15.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4120 – an entry from New South Wales and Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 356 so far this calendar year, including 107 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, Monday & Wednesday Lotto created 95 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 102 division one winning Monday & Wednesday Lotto entries across Australia, which collectively won $101 million.
