A Toowoomba man is revving up for a car shopping spree after landing $100,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw.

The Darling Downs resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 11006, drawn Wednesday 18 June 2025. He looks forward to a clean $100,000.

The stunned man struggled to wrap his head around the enormity of his prize, declaring the win meant so much to him.

So far in 2025, the Darling Downs and Southwest region has celebrated five major lottery wins, totalling more than $5.4 million in prize money.

“I’m very good now, thank you!” the winning man exclaimed when an official from The Lott confirmed his win.

“It’s so special. I don’t know what to say right now.

“I’m pretty stoked. It’s amazing news.

“I’ve been having such a rotten time recently and to have a dose of good news is everything to me.

“I always love reading the different winner’s stories on The Lott website and hearing what they plan to do with the prize.

“I’ve even noticed there have been a fair few winners from around the Toowoomba area recently.

“I can’t believe I’m part of the winners’ club now.

“It means so much to me. I’m so grateful.”

With $100,000 soon to boost his bank account, the cheerful winner wasted no time dreaming of what he’d put his prize towards.

“My old car has been on the way out for some time now,” he shared.

“I was wondering how I could replace it but now I don’t need to wonder.

“I’m going to spend the rest of the afternoon looking at new cars.”

His winning entry of four consecutive numbers was purchased on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.52 million for draw 1705, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $21.69 million for draw 11007.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.

The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.

In 2024, more than 195.3 million winners took home more than $4.84 billion in prize money from their favourite games at The Lott, including Saturday Gold Lotto, Weekday Windfall, Powerball, Oz Lotto, Set for Life, Lucky Lotteries, Keno (SA), Super 66, Lotto Strike and Instant Scratch-Its.

Last financial year, Australia’s official lotteries contributed more than $1.8 billion via state lottery taxes and donations to help community initiatives, such as hospitals, health research, disaster relief and education.  As part of its commitment to supporting the community, The Lott proudly supports Play For Purpose, the not-for-profit charity raffle that gives Australians the chance to win while helping more than 500 causes across the country.
