A Carina Heights woman has attributed her Saturday Gold Lotto win in the weekend’s draw to her beloved late cat looking down on her.
The Brisbane resident held one of the seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4465 on Saturday 4 May 2024. Each division one winning entry scored $703,314.88.
The winning Queensland was oblivious to her good fortune until an official from The Lott reached out to her.
“Holy sh**!” the woman exclaimed when the enormity of her win was confirmed.
“Are you serious?
“Oh my god, oh my god!
“Thank you so much! This is life-changing!
“I lost my cat recently. This must be her passing this on to me.
“I’m shaking!
“I just keep playing the same ticket over and over. I’ve been winning on it for a little while now.
“It’s funny, as this morning I didn’t see an email from The Lott, so I thought I hadn’t won anything and thought, ‘oh well, next time’.
“We might be able to get our first house now!”
The woman’s 36-game QuickPick entry was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4465 on 4 May 2024 were 14, 42, 26, 12, 29 and 5, while the supplementary numbers were 9 and 41.
Across Australia, there were seven division one winning entries in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4465 – four in Victoria, two in Queensland and one in New South Wales.
