A Catalina dad says his dreams have come true, after winning $100,000 in the latest Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The thrilled man took home the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10273, drawn Friday 22 February 2019.
Confirming his win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the man was overwhelmed with joy.
“Oh my god, I’ve never won anything in my life before,” he laughed.
“This is just so good!
“I’m feeling very, very happy at the moment!
“I just can’t believe it, I really can’t believe it!”
The generous dad didn’t need long to think of how he’ll spend his unexpected windfall.
“I’m already planning what I’ll do with my win,” he revealed.
“I’ve going to help out my children, that’s for sure.
“And I’m planning a trip to the United Kingdom. It’s always been a dream of mine to visit there.
“I’ve worked so hard all my life and I’m just so happy that I’ve got a bit of spare money to spend.
“I’ve probably been purchasing different lottery tickets for about 40 years so this is a dream come true. It’s still sinking in.
“It will make my life a little bit easier for a while, I have no doubt about that!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of three random numbers at Batehaven Newsagency, 248 Beach Road, Batehaven.
Batehaven Newsagency owner Deanne Griffin said the team was thrilled to discover they sold a 1st Prize winning entry.
“It’s always super exciting to know you’ve sold a major prize winning entry!” she exclaimed.
“We’ve sold a few major prizes in the past but that winning feeling never gets old.
“Customers keep coming in and purchasing Lucky Lotteries tickets, hoping that now we’ve sold a 1st Prize winning entry that we will be selling the jackpot prize as well!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $44.68 million for draw 1233 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $3.62 million for draw 10274.
