A Hamilton man is planning to take the day off today to continue celebrating his Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot win.
The New South Wales man scored the $100,000 1st Prize in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10461, drawn Monday 17 May 2021.
Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the ecstatic but tired winner revealed he had purchased the same entry type for over 30 years and was over the moon to finally score a big win.
“When I found out, my jaw hit the ground,” he exclaimed.
“I’m absolutely stunned! This is fantastic.
“My eyes were glued to the computer screen. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.
“I am definitely going to continue working, but I’ll take the day off to treat my family.
When asked how he planned to enjoy his prize, the fortunate winner had a few ideas on his mind.
“I’m not too sure where I’ll start, but I know I’ll take my lovely wife out for dinner.
“I am hoping to go on a few holidays, maybe finish exploring Australia!”
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his entry of four consecutive numbers from Beaumont Street Newsagency, 132 Beaumont Street Hamilton.
Beaumont Street Newsagency owner Robert Burton said he was ecstatic to sell another major prize winning entry.
“No doubt the win made their day as well as ours,” he said.
“We’re all very happy – really pleased. In these times, it’s a great thing to have a win.
“We’ve sold a few past big wins before, but it’s always good to have another under the belt.”
