Despite speaking to an official from The Lott about his $200,000 win, a Grafton man admitted he’s struggling to come to terms with the fact he won the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot 1st Prize.

The New South Wales player won the 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1532, drawn Monday 10 May 2021.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this afternoon, the man from the Northern Rivers region admitted both he and his wife were in a daze.

“It’s bloody brilliant!” he laughed.

“I checked the ticket the other day when I popped into the newsagency. When I realised I had the winning $200,000 ticket, I was shocked!

“I just couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it, even though I am talking to you right now about it.

“I am in total disbelief.

“Honestly, when I initially saw I’d won I thought it might be some kind of scam, or a novelty ticket.

“But it’s not, and that’s amazing.

“When I told my wife, she was probably more shocked than me.

“We love buying lottery tickets and have always dreamt of the day this would happen, but now it has, it feels like a dream!

“We are going out for a really nice dinner tonight to celebrate.”

When asked how they planned to enjoy their $200,000 windfall, the overjoyed man already knew exactly what they were going to do.

“This will be used for my retirement,” he declared.

“Which really means lots of traveling with my wife!”

The winning entry was purchased at Grafton Mall News, Shop 11, Grafton Mall, Cnr King & Pound Street, Grafton.

Grafton Mall News owner Allan Worland said he was blown away by the news.

“It’s such great news!” he exclaimed.

“You never get sick of selling a major prize winning ticket.

“We hope the winners really enjoy their prize. We wish them all the best!

“Hopefully this is the start of a winning streak.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $9.17 million for draw 1533, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $5.05 million for draw 10461.
