A Chatswood man has finally discovered he’s been walking around with a ticket worth $200,000 in his wallet for the past two weeks.
The Sydney player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1441, drawn Monday 26 August 2019.
Sharing his excitement with a NSW Lotteries official just after he made the life-changing discovery this morning, the man revealed he’d been none the wiser for weeks.
“Thank you so much!” he exclaimed.
“This is such great news.
“I just discovered I’d won about half an hour ago.
“I checked my ticket and a message appeared telling me to contact NSW Lotteries.
“I thought it had to be good news.
“Woohoo! This is even better than what I had imagined. It’s the absolute best news!”
When asked how he planned to enjoy his windfall, the hardworking Sydney man said it would help him get ahead.
“I will certainly be using this prize wisely,” he said.

The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his winning entry of one number at Chatswood Interchange Newsagency, Shop 31A, Chatswood Interchange, 432 Victoria Road, Chatswood.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $1.72 million for draw 1451 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $4.14 million for draw 10313.
