It’s likely a Gold Coast resident has woken up this morning and gone about their day without checking their Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto ticket and discovering they’re a newly-made millionaire.
The elusive Queensland winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in draw 4257, drawn Wednesday 1 February 2023 and takes home $1 million.
However, the winning entry is unregistered, which means officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news.
Instead, they must wait for the ticket holder to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Pacific Pines Newsagency, Shop 2 Pacific Pines Shopping Centre, 6 Hotham Drive, Pacific Pines.
Pacific Pines Newsagency owner Hao Xu said the selling the division one winning entry is exciting news for their outlet and community.
“It was pretty surreal when I woke up this morning and heard we had sold a division one winning entry worth $1 million last night,” he said.
“It’s our second division one winning entry in the last five months. The last one we had sold was in the Saturday Lotto Superdraw back in July 2022.
“This brings our division one tally to three since owning the outlet which is awesome news!
“We hope the mystery winner comes in to check their ticket soon and we can share the winning news with them.”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell she was eager to unite Gold Coast’s newest millionaire with their prize.
“It’s likely this winner has been going about their day as normal with no idea they’ve just won $1 million” she said.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto entry from Pacific Pines Newsagency to check their tickets today.

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4333 on Wednesday 1 February 2023 were 1, 44, 8, 31, 41 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 26.
