Ten Gladstone locals will be singing about their glorious good fortune for weeks to come after sharing in a wonderful $1 million Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto win.
The store syndicate, named Safari Tour, held the only division one winning entry in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4256, drawn Monday 30 January 2023.
In addition to the $1 million division one prize, the groups marked System 9 entry also scored division three 18 times and division four 45 times, boosting the total win to $1,008,223.30.
Shares into the syndicate were purchased at Nextra Valley News, Shop 1E Gladstone Shopping Centre, 184 Goondoon Street, Gladstone.
Nextra Valley News owner Rosalie Mcpherson said the team was incredibly excited to have sold a division one winning syndicate entry.
“How exciting! This is such fantastic news!” she exclaimed.
“This syndicate has been going for a number of years, with a number of customers playing every week.
“It’s great to see a number of regular customers and players have a great win! We’ll be shouting it from the rooftops!

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Gold Lotto draw 4256 on Monday 30 January 2023 were 42, 20, 11, 39, 5 and 8, while the supplementary numbers were 38 and 25.
