A Lismore resident or visitor has stepped into the work week as a newly-minted multi-millionaire after scoring $3.3 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw, but first they need to check their ticket and discover the life-changing news.
The mystery ticketholder held one of the three division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 4549, drawn Saturday 22 February 2025 and looks forward to a total prize of $3,333,333.34.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have already been alerted to their good fortune. Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
This division one win follows a $2.1 million Saturday Lotto prize claimed by two Lismore mates in January, making it the second major lottery win for the Northern Rivers region in 2025.
The winning entry was purchased at Lismore Square News, Shop 78, Lismore Shopping Square, 95 Diadem Street, Lismore.
Lismore Square News owners David and Kristin said they were over the moon to have sold their second division one winning ticket in less than two months.
“We can’t believe our store has done it again! This is our second division one winning ticket in two months, and we can imagine the winning streak will continue,” David said.
“The store will be buzzing with excitement, and we can just imagine all our customers will be so happy for us and the mystery winner.

The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped the region’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4549 on 22 February 2025 were 5, 39, 26, 2, 28 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 7 and 8.
Across Australia, there were three division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4549 – two in New South Wales and one in Western Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 314 so far in FY25, including 86 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In FY24, Saturday Lotto created 158 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 292 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
