A Langwarrin player could be walking around $4.8 million richer from last night’s Set for Life draw, but first, they need to check their ticket and come forward to claim their prize.
The elusive winner held the only division one winning entry nationally in Set for Life draw 3189, drawn Monday 29 April.
They took home the prize of $4.8 million paid in instalments of $20,000 a month for 20 years.
However, the winning entry is unregistered meaning officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the life-changing news. Instead, they must wait for the ticketholder to come forward to claim their prize.
The winning entry was purchased at Euro Garages Australia – Frankston North, Caltex, McClelland Drive, Langwarrin.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she couldn’t wait to unite Victoria’s latest division one winner with their prize.
“We’re urging all players who purchased a Set for Life ticket from Euro Garages Australia – Frankston North to check their tickets today,” she said.
“Imagine how exciting it would be to realise you’ve just won Set for Life. Your plans for the next 20 years would certainly change with those extra digits in your bank account!
“Make sure you check your ticket, which could be in your wallet, handbag, fridge door or car glovebox. The winner could be you and you could be planning what to do with your prize!
“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the process of claiming your prize.”
The winning numbers in Set for Life draw 3189 on Monday 29 April 2024 were 31, 36, 37, 38, 18, 10, 33, while the supplementary numbers were 20 and 4.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Set for Life draw 3189 – one in Victoria.
This marks the 128th Set for Life division one winner nationally since the game began and the third Set for Life division one winner so far this calendar year.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 345 so far in FY24, including 122 won by Tatts customers.
In 2023, there were 18 Set for Life division one winners across Australia who will receive $86.4 million during the next 20 years.
By 31 December 2023, more than $116.18 million in monthly payments of $20,000 had been paid to the 125 Set for Life division one winners across Australia.
