A Ballarat resident or visitor has stepped into the new year as a newly-minted multi-millionaire after scoring $2.14 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw, though they may have yet to discover their good fortune.
The mystery ticketholder held one of the 14 division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4535, drawn Saturday 4 January 2025 and can look forward to $2,142,857.15.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, they would have been alerted to their good fortune immediately after the draw.
Instead, officials from The Lott are eagerly waiting for the ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Lucas Gifts & Lotto, Kiosk 1, Coltman Plaza Shopping Centre, Lucas.
Lucas Gifts & Lotto manager Colleen Porter said selling another division one winning entry had created such a great buzz in the store and she hoped her division one winner came forward soon.
“We’re very pleased to have sold another division one winning entry! This is our second division one winner in the last three years,” she said.
“Our customers love to hear of a division one winner and where they buy their tickets from.
“We last sold a division one winning entry back in April 2022 in a Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw. The winner took home a cool $1 million.
“A big congratulations to the winner and what a time to win in the Megadraw! We hope the mystery winners spends it wisely and now will be able to do what they have always dreamed of.”
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said she hoped the region’s latest division one winner checked their ticket and came forward soon.
“Our elusive winner is likely oblivious to the fact they won more than $2.14 million in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw,” she said.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a TattsLotto ticket from Lucas Gifts & Lotto to check their tickets today!
“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you won division one! Your plans for the rest of the year and into the future would quickly change!

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4535 on 4 January 2025 were 33, 19, 8, 23, 10 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 42 and 13.
Across Australia, there were 14 division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4535 – six each in Victoria and New South Wales, and two in Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 251 so far in FY25, including 90 won by Tatts customers.
In FY24, TattsLotto created 158 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 292 division one winning TattsLotto entries across Australia that collectively won more than $436 million.
