A Leongatha resident or visitor is waking up a newly minted millionaire after pocketing $1 million in last night’s Weekday Windfall draw—though they may not know it yet.
The mystery millionaire held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4498, drawn Wednesday 22 January 2025. Each division one winning entry can look forward to a thrilling $1 million.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their newfound fortune.
Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Nextra Leongatha Newsagency, 30 Bair Street, Leongatha.
The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she hoped to unite the division one winner with their million-dollar windfall soon.
“Our mystery ticketholder is likely oblivious to the fact that they’ve woken up as a millionaire this morning following last night’s Weekday Windfall draw,” she said.
“We’re urging anybody who purchased a Weekday Windfall ticket from Nextra Leongatha Newsagency to check their tickets today!
“Just imagine the thrill of discovering you are an overnight millionaire. With $1 million boosting your bank account, you could bet your plans for the year would be enhanced.
“Winning tickets can often be found in wallets, handbags, fridge doors or car glove boxes. Be sure to check anywhere and everywhere because the winner could be you!

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4498 on Wednesday 22 January 2025 were 5, 17, 9, 43, 35, and 22 while the supplementary numbers were 33 and 36.
