A Mackay resident or visitor is walking around $100,000 richer after scooping a 1st Prize win in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw – though they may not know it yet.
The North Queenslander held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10996, drawn Friday 6 June 2025. They can look forward to a clean $100,000.
If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their newfound fortune.
Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.
The winning entry was purchased at Nightowl Slade Point, Shop 1, 5 Finch Street, Slade Point.
The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped the region’s latest major lottery prize winner checked their ticket soon.
“Our mystery ticketholder is likely oblivious to the fact that they’re walking around with $100,000 in their back pocket,” she said.
“We’re urging anybody who purchased a Lucky Lotteries ticket from Nightowl Slade Point to check their tickets today!
“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you’ve taken home $100,000? You could book that dream holiday, pay off your mortgage in full, or even buy a brand-new car.
“Winning tickets can often be found anywhere from wallets, handbags and fridge doors, to car glove boxes. Be sure to check everywhere because you might be holding the golden ticket.
“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the exciting prize claim process.
“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they are to score a major prize, we can reach out to them with the winning news.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $6.28 million for draw 1704, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $20.39 million for draw 10997.
In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
The official home of Australia’s lotteries, The Lott operates and markets Australia’s leading lottery games customers know and love creating everyday winners, winning every day.
