A Singleton resident or visitor is waltzing through the week $200,000 richer after landing a 1st Prize win in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries draw, though they may not know it yet.

The mystery ticketholder held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1706, drawn Wednesday 9 July 2025. They can look forward to a sweet $200,000 prize.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their newfound treasure.

Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Singleton Mall Newsagency, Shop 23B Mall Shopping Centre, 1 Gowrie Street, Singleton.

Singleton Mall Newsagency manager Kevin Zhang shared he was excited to hear his team had sold a winning ticket worth $200,000.

“I was thrilled to hear we played a role in selling such a large prize!” he exclaimed.

“I’m so glad to hear someone in our tight-knit local community has scored such an awesome prize.

“We sold a division one winning ticket in Weekday Windfall only a few months ago, so it seems like our newsagency is on a winning streak.

“We’ll be celebrating the win in store for weeks to come and urging our Lucky Lotteries players to check their tickets.

“I hope the winner comes forward soon and can take some time to celebrate and enjoy their great win.”

The Lott spokesperson Eliza Wregg said she hoped the region’s latest major lottery prize winner realised their good fortune soon.

“Our mystery ticketholder is likely oblivious to the fact that they’re walking around with a $200,000 ticket in their back pocket, purse or car console” she said.

“We’re encouraging anybody who purchased a Lucky Lotteries ticket from Singleton Mall Newsagency to check their tickets today!

“Can you imagine how exciting it would be to discover you were the mystery winner who scored $200,000? You could book that dream holiday, pay off your mortgage, or even buy a brand-new car.

“Winning tickets have often been found anywhere from wallets, handbags and fridge doors to car glove boxes. Be sure to check everywhere because you might be holding the golden ticket.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the exciting prize claim process.

“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they are to score a major prize, we can reach out to them with the winning news.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $7 million for draw 1707, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $24.16 million for draw 11027.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
