A Springwood resident or visitor is walking around as a newly minted millionaire after pocketing $1 million in a recent Weekday Windfall draw - though they may not know it yet.

The mystery millionaire held one of the two division one winning entries nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4549, drawn Wednesday 21 May 2025 and can look forward to a clean $1 million.

If the winner had been part of The Lott Members Club and registered their ticket to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott would have already alerted the player to their newfound fortune.

Instead, officials are eagerly waiting for the mystery ticketholder to check their ticket and come forward.

The winning entry was purchased at Chatswood Hills News & Casket Agency, Chatswood Hills Shopping Centre, Magellan Road, Springwood.

Amazingly, this is the second unclaimed major lottery prize in Springwood. Back in April 2019, another Springwood player won a $100,000 Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot 1st Prize in draw 10280, drawn Monday 1 April 2019.

That winning ticket was purchased at NewsExtra Springwood Mall, Shop 9, Centro Shopping Centre, Fitzgerald Avenue, Springwood and still remains unclaimed.

The Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said she hoped the mystery Weekday Windfall division one winner checked their ticket soon.

“Our mystery ticketholder is likely oblivious to the fact that they’re walking around with $1 million in their back pocket,” she said.

“We’re urging anybody who purchased a Weekday Windfall ticket from Chatswood Hills News & Casket Agency to check their tickets today!

“Just imagine the thrill of discovering you scored $1 million. The excitement would be palpable.

“Winning tickets can often be found anywhere from wallets, handbags, fridge doors, to car glove boxes. Be sure to check everywhere because you might be holding the golden ticket.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin the exciting prize claim process.

“This is also an important reminder for players to register their lottery tickets to a player card or online account with The Lott Members Club, so if they are to score a major prize, we can reach out to them with the winning news.”

The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4549 on Wednesday 21 May 2025 were 5, 17, 23, 29, 6 and 36, while the supplementary numbers were 14 and 2.

Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Weekday Windfall draw 4549 – one in Queensland and one in Victoria.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 406 so far in FY25, including 105 won by Golden Casket customers.

In 2024, Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) created 102 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 105 division one winning Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) entries across Australia, which collectively won $105 million.
