A Clayton couple celebrated two things on the weekend - their wedding anniversary and winning $1 million in TattsLotto using the special numbers picked when they got married.

The Victorians held one of the six division one winning entries nationally in TattsLotto draw 4205, drawn Saturday 6 November 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $1,015,392.69.

So far in 2021, there have been 22 division one wins in Melbourne’s south-east, collectively worth more than $38.4 million.

Speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the happy mum explained she was still struggling to comprehend the life-changing news.

“I’ve just finished the school drop off. I think I know why you’re calling, though,” she giggled nervously.

“Is it a joke? Please tell me it’s real!

“I checked my account on Sunday and saw the win then. I thought it was a joke, and so I showed my husband, and he also thought it was a joke or some kind of prank.

“We called our parents and told them, and they didn’t believe us either.

“We were all so gobsmacked! It’s such an awesome surprise. It changes everything!

“I am still in shock now. I can’t believe it. This is just incredible. We’re millionaires!

“We picked these numbers about a decade ago when we got married, and last week we also celebrated our anniversary, so it feels like it was meant to be.

“We feel so incredibly blessed. We are very lucky! This is life-changing.”

When asked how they planned to enjoy their windfall, the Melbourne woman thought of her loved ones first.

“We want to give some of it to our siblings and our parents,” she shared.

“It’s going to help us so much, and then we will be able to help our families too, which is just the greatest thing. They’ve all supported us so much over the years, so we can’t wait to spoil them a little.

“This will also mean we can pay off our mortgage, get a new-ish car, and we can take our family on a holiday.

“It’s been pretty tough here in Melbourne for the past few years, and obviously we haven’t been able to travel. But now we can go anywhere we like!”

Their winning marked 18-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4205 on 6 November 2021 were 33, 28, 15, 30, 11 and 39, while the supplementary numbers were 35 and 19.

Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4205 – three from Victoria, two from Western Australia and one from Queensland.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 397 so far this calendar year, including 145 won by Tatts customers.

In the 12 months to 30 June 2021, TattsLotto created 174 millionaires across Australia.

During this time, there were 341 division one winning in TattsLotto entries across Australia, which collectively won more than $435.21 million.
