A Colac woman was overcome with emotion this morning after discovering the life-changing news she is now a millionaire from scoring division one in the weekend’s TattsLotto draw.
The Colac woman held one of the three division one winning entries across Australia in TattsLotto draw 4013, drawn Saturday 4 January 2019. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,497,160.07.
Sharing her joy with a Tatts official this morning, the woman revealed the news had come as a complete shock.
“Oh my god! You’re joking! I’m going to cry!” she exclaimed through tears.
“I had absolutely no idea!
“My daughter is worried because I am crying. I’ve had to tell her they are happy tears not sad tears!”
When asked how she planned to enjoy life as a millionaire, the self-confessed battler revealed it would go a long way towards a stress-free future.
“I’m always having to juggle things to pay the bills,” she explained.
“This will provide a huge relief. I’ll be able to pay off my debts and then relax.
“After I’ve done that I’ll go on a holiday! Just to Queensland or Bali – nothing fancy! I just want to go somewhere by the beach!”
The happy winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 36-game QuickPick entry online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.
