The day a Coolamon woman has been patiently waiting for has finally arrived, delivering her a multi-million-dollar division one win.
The New South Wales player held one of the two division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4217, drawn Saturday 18 December 2021. Each division one winning entry scored $2,942,875.50.
Confirming her win with an official from The Lott this morning, the woman explained she was still coming to terms with the mind-blowing discovery.
“Thank you very much,” she gushed.
“I’ve been shaking quite a lot. It doesn’t feel real.
“I checked the ticket around 11pm on Saturday night.
“I woke my husband up right away. We both didn’t believe it!
“I’ve been playing for a long time, and I always knew I was going to win one day, and now that day has arrived.
“It’s amazing!”
With almost $3 million hitting her bank account in no time, the happy winner explained it would help her get ahead.
“We’ve been talking about upgrading our house for a long time, and now we will be able to,” she declared.
“It will be such a huge help.”
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4217 on 18 December 2021 were 1, 44, 36, 29, 25 and 19, while the supplementary numbers were 21 and 35.
Across Australia, there were two division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4217 – both from New South Wales.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 215 so far this financial year, including 74 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
