Good Friday lived up to its name for a Coolum Beach woman who was left stunned after discovering her Weekday Windfall ticket had made her a millionaire.
The Sunshine Coast resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4535, drawn Friday 18 April 2025, and looks forward to a neat $1 million.
The Sunshine Coast has already seen five major individual lottery wins in 2025 worth more than $6.26 million.
In addition, one local took home $4.71 million after sharing last Tuesday’s $70 million Oz Lotto jackpot with their ticket from Noosa Village News in Noosaville.
“I’m very excited,” the winning woman revealed when speaking to an official from The Lott earlier this morning.
“It still doesn’t feel real. I keep thinking I’m going to wake up and it’ll all be a dream.
“I checked my ticket while watching the telly, just winding down for the night. When I saw the win, I couldn’t believe it.
“I just said, ‘Oh em gee!’ and sat there staring at the ticket for a good few minutes.
“Normally, I only ever win something small, and then I treat myself to another ticket.
“We treated ourselves to some cocktails on the weekend to celebrate!”
When asked what she’d do with her newfound fortune, the Queenslander said it would be a perfect addition to her retirement fund.
“It will help our retirement fund that we’re building,” she exclaimed.
“Thank you so much.”
The winning woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her 6-game QuickPick on The Lott website – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The winning numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4535 on Friday 18 April 2025 were 1, 36, 37, 44, 20 and 38, while the supplementary numbers were 17 and 23.
Across Australia, there was one division one winning entry in Weekday Windfall draw 4535 in Queensland.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 382 so far in FY25, including 100 won by Golden Casketcustomers.
In 2024, Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) created 102 millionaires across Australia.
During this time, there were 105 division one winning Weekday Windfall (formerly Monday & Wednesday Lotto) entries across Australia, which collectively won $105 million.
