Oz Lotto could crown its biggest multi-millionaire of 2022 should one Aussie snag the entire $50 million jackpot prize on Tuesday night – the equal biggest jackpot the game has offered in more than eight months.
During the past five Oz Lotto draws, no entry has held the seven winning numbers in a single game panel needed to score division one, pushing the jackpot to $50 million for tomorrow night’s draw.
The last time the Oz Lotto jackpot offered up a whopping $50 million prize was in January 2022. This is the largest prize offered by any Australian lottery game so far this financial year.
So far this year, there have been 12 Oz Lotto division one wins across Australia that have collectively taken home more than $175 million in prize money.
Six of these division one winning entries landed in New South Wales, three in Queensland, two in Victoria and one in Western Australia.
The Lott spokesperson Anna Hobdell said up to one-in-six Australian adults are expected to have an entry into this Tuesday night’s Oz Lotto draw.
“We haven’t seen Oz Lotto soar to these lofty heights since January this year where the prize was subsequently shared by a Rockhampton mum and a Western Australian player,” she said.
“If one Australian takes home the entire multi-million-dollar Oz Lotto loot this week, they’ll become the biggest winner the game has crowned so far in 2022.
“Imagine the life you could lead with an extra $50 million in your bank account – it would certainly put a spring in your step this season!”
The most frequently drawn Oz Lotto numbers since draw 1474 are: 28, 21, 5 and 16.
The least frequently drawn Oz Lotto numbers since draw 1474 are: 26, 15, 13 and 44.
“For your chance to win this stellar $50 million Oz Lotto prize, you do need an entry before the draw closes at 7.30pm AEST on Tuesday night,” Ms Hobdell said.
“If we have a division one winner tomorrow night, we’ll be wanting to let them know straight after the draw. They may not need to head into work on Wednesday morning, or ever again!
“We encourage customers to not only get in early to purchase their entries but to also register their entries to a player card or online account so we can contact them directly after the draw, potentially with some staggering news.”
Oz Lotto draw 1494 closes at 7.30pm AEST on Tuesday 4 October 2022.
Tickets can be purchased at any licensed lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
