A Dapto woman’s doubt slowly turned into delight after discovering she scored $100,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Illawarra region resident won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10699, drawn Friday 30 September 2022.
“Oh my god, no… that can’t be real?!” the winning woman cried when officials from The Lott called to confirm the winning news.
“I’m amazed! I have no words right now.
“My partner and I were having dinner at home, and he called out to me from the kitchen.
“I was having a look at the entry on my app and asked if he could wait a minute.
“He playfully joked that I was on my phone again and I asked him to come and have a look.
“We just kept saying that it can’t be real and maybe there was a glitch on the app.
“When I saw the amount, I wondered if it was a scam. I don’t know why.
“Things like this don’t happen to us.”
With $100,000 about to land into her bank account, she couldn’t wait to put her long-awaited home renovations plans into motion.
“We’ve been planning some home renovations, so this is going to be a huge help,” she said.
“I think we might even go to dinner as a family to celebrate.
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning entry of four random numbers was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $15.17 million for draw 1594, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $30.445 million for draw 10705.
In FY22, 169 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.
