A Davoren Park man has confessed he thinks he’s been “kissed by a genie” and touched with a streak of good luck after pocketing a phenomenal $3.1 million in a recent Keno draw.
The Adelaide resident scored the Keno Spot 10 jackpot in draw 260211 472, drawn Wednesday 11 February 2026. He looks forward to a total prize of $3,146,692.00.
When an official from The Lott rang and confirmed his prize, the stunned man relived the thrilling moment he realised he’d won big and raced home to call his parents.
“It will be strange to see that amount of zeros in my bank account! I’ve never seen that in my entire life!” he exclaimed.
“Far out! Are you kidding me?!
“I was so excited yesterday that I ran out of the pub before I saw how much I’d actually won. I knew the prize amount started with a three and that was enough to shoot me to cloud nine.
“I’ve been experiencing a streak of good luck recently, and things just keep getting better.
“It’s like a genie kissed me at some point in time.”
With over $3.1 million soon to land in his lap, the overjoyed winner shared the win was truly ‘life-changing’ and would allow him to help his family in ways he never imagined.
“I immediately rang my parents last night and told them I’d buy them a house,” he said.
“It’s absolutely life-changing for my family.
“I’ll be able to chuck my brother and sister 150 grand each. It’s incredible!
“Right now, my head is still spinning. Thank you so much!”
His winning entry was purchased at Playford Tavern, 80 Peachey Road, Davoren Park.
Playford Tavern assistant manager Chris Hui shared he was over the moon to discover the venue had sold a major prize winning ticket worth an astonishing $3.1 million.
“It was incredibly exciting to hear we’d sold a major prize winning ticket,” he said.
“It’s by far the biggest winning ticket we’ve sold to my knowledge. You certainly don’t hear of it too often.
“I wasn’t here yesterday when the win occurred, but I hear there was quite the buzz going around, with everyone frantically checking their tickets and hoping it would be them.
“A big congratulations to our winner. All the best!”
Keno is a game whereby 20 numbers are randomly generated from a possible 80. To win a Keno Spot 10 prize, a player must match all 10 of the numbers selected on their ticket against the 20 numbers drawn.
