A West Wyalong Lucky Lotteries player might be feeling the Monday blues today, but their mood could be turned around if they checked their ticket and discovered their exciting $100,000 win.

The mystery player won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10571, drawn Monday 16 May 2022.

The ticket is unregistered, so officials from The Lott have no way of contacting the winner to break the news and must wait for them to come forward to claim their prize.

The winning entry was purchased at West Wyalong Newsagency, 159 Main Street, West Wyalong.

West Wyalong Newsagency co-owners Joanne and Len Lynch said they were thrilled to sell a major prize winning entry and hoped their winner came forward soon.

“This is such a big moment for us – it’s the biggest win we’ve had here. Wow!” Joanne said.

“We’ve been waiting for a big win, and now it’s here. Hopefully, this is the start of a major winning streak. Wouldn’t that be wonderful!”

“We’re always selling Lucky Lotteries tickets, so this is fantastic news,” Len added.

“Hopefully, the winner discovers the exciting news soon. We’ll certainly be encouraging all our players to check their tickets.

“Thanks for this fantastic news. You’ve made our day!”

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said she was hoping to untie the winner with their prize as soon as possible.

“The elusive winner is likely going about their Monday with no clue that they’ve just won a life-enhancing $100,000 prize,” she said.

“We’re urging all players who purchased a Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot ticket from West Wyalong Newsagency to check their tickets today.

“Make sure to scout high and low for your ticket. It could be hiding in your pockets, car, shopping bag – anywhere you might store lottery tickets for safekeeping.

“If you discover you are holding the winning ticket, contact The Lott on 131 868 to begin claiming your prize.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $9.89 million for draw 1572, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $13.14 million for draw 10572.

In 2021, 127 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $32.95 million.

During this time, the biggest Lucky Lotteries prize was won by a Coolangatta man who a Mega Jackpot prize of $9.41 million in May.
