There were four division one winning entries nationally in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4351 on Wednesday 27 December 2023. Each division one winning entry pocketed $1 million.

Prestons man’s special numbers deliver million-dollar payday

A Prestons man is looking forward to buying himself a new home after taking home division one in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

“I checked my ticket last night, just after the draw,” he exclaimed when an official from The Lott confirmed his prize this morning.

“I thought, ‘oh unreal, I’ve done well!’.

“Thank you! Thank you. I’m overwhelmed. I had a restless sleep last night. I’m just walking around enjoying this time.

“I picked these numbers. I’ve been thinking about these numbers for the past few months. They’re some of the numbers I like and so I started playing them. I’m glad I did.

“I’ll be buying a house in 2024, that’s for sure!”

His winning marked 12-game entry was purchased online at thelott.com – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.

10 St Marys players share million-dollar windfall

Ten St Marys players are stepping into 2024 with a slice of $1 million after last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

Shares into the 10-person store syndicate were purchased at St Marys Newsagency, 118 Queen Street, St Marys.

In addition to scoring division one, the syndicate’s marked System 11 entry also scored division two 6 times, division three 24 times, division four 150 times and division five 120 times, bolstering the group’s total prize to $1,030,706.30.

Each syndicate member took home $103,171.63.

However, some members of the winning syndicate may have yet to realise their newfound fortune, prompting lottery officials to urge players to check their tickets as soon as possible.

The Lott spokesperson Matt Hart said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might have yet to discover their winning news.

“Some of these division one winning syndicate members have already begun celebrating their good fortune knowing their bank account is about to be boosted with more than $100,000,” he said.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those winners who are registered, there are still some unregistered syndicate members who may have yet to discover their good news.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate from St Marys Newsagency for last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw, today’s the day to check it!

“If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”
