A Dundas Valley woman was stepping out the door to the shops this morning when she discovered she had bagged more than $1.2 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw.
The New South Wales player held one of the four division one winning entries across Australia in Saturday Lotto draw 4047 on Saturday 2 May 2020. Each entry won a division one prize of $1,217,458.56.
The woman in her 30s was oblivious to her win until an official from the Lott called her with the news that stopped her in her tracks.
“You’ve derailed my plans for the day now!” she laughed.
“You’re kidding me! I thought you were scamming me. My husband doesn’t believe it’s real.
“We are literally heading out the doors to the shops. I wasn’t even going to answer the phone.
“I’m speechless. This is unreal. You’ve made my day!
“I had a win from the other day, so I used that to get a QuickPick into Saturday’s draw.
“Unbelievable! I don’t know what to say.”
The regular player admitted she would need time before deciding just how she’d enjoy her Saturday Lotto windfall.
“I don’t know what we’ll do with it just right now, but I know it will go a long way, especially with everything that’s going on at the moment. I certainly appreciate it!” she said.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased her winning 18-game QuickPick online at thelott.com – Australia’s official lotteries.

The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 4047 on Saturday 2 May 2020 were 10, 18, 16, 43, 14 and 31, while the supplementary numbers were 4 and 35.
Across Australia, there were four division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4047 – two from Queensland and one each from New South Wales and Tasmania.
