The New Year just got a whole lot brighter for a Dural woman, who won $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw, unlocking a world of possibilities for 2025.
The Hornsby Shire resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10908, drawn Monday 30 December 2024, and pocketed a total prize of $100,000.
When speaking with an official from The Lott this morning, the cheery woman shared she was thrilled to start the year by putting money towards her mortgage and surprising her husband with a shiny new car.
“I’m so freaking excited!” she cheered.
“I just can’t believe it!
“I was just having breakfast with my family, and we were goal-setting for the year ahead.
“Fair to say, I’ve already kicked some big goals winning this prize.
“Coming towards the end of the year I was manifesting a good win – it’s crazy timing!
“I’ve dreamed of doing so many things since discovering the win. It unlocks a whole heap of exciting possibilities for the New Year.
“A big chunk of the win will go towards our mortgage, and then I’d love to surprise my husband with a new car.
“I think we’re due for a holiday too!
“2025 is going to be amazing with this win! Thank you!”
Her winning entry of five random numbers was purchased via The Lott app – the official home of Australia’s lotteries.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $3.88 million for draw 1694, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $8.95 million for draw 10909.
In FY24, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $53.4 million.
Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.
Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.
