An East Maitland mum was busy doing some household chores this morning when she received an unexpected phone call, informing her she won $20,007 thanks to an Instant Scratch-Its 2nd Chance Draw.

The woman purchased the $5 JAMES BOND 007 ticket from Greenhills Newsagency, Shop 39 Stockland Shopping Centre, East Maitland.
After revealing that it was in-fact a non-winning ticket, she entered it into the $5 JAMES BOND 007 2nd Chance Draw where she scored the $20,007 windfall. This was a unique draw to celebrate the release of the $5 JAMES BOND 007 Instant Scratch-Its game.
This morning, an official from the Lott called the mum, bringing her household chores to a stop.
“I am bloody shaking!” she screamed.
“I am in shock!
“Are you for real? Are you sure this isn’t some kind of joke?
“I was just doing a few things around the house, looking after the kids and I saw you call and I thought ‘that’s weird, I wonder who it is’.
“I don’t usually answer calls to numbers I don’t know.
“God yeah, this is awesome! Thank you so much. You’ve made my day.”
When asked how she planned to enjoy her prize, the excited woman said while she was too overwhelmed to make concrete plans, she did have some ideas.
“Oh god, I don’t know what I will do,” she explained.
“I will definitely be shouting my kids and family to something special.
“I’d like to take them on a holiday once we can too.
“I will be celebrating, that’s for sure!
“I’ll have a few glasses of wine. I just feel so excited!”
