More than a week after the draw, a Dapto couple have come forward to claim their Saturday Lotto division one win.
The New South Wales pair held one of the 12 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 3965, drawn Saturday 20 July 2019. Each division one winner takes home a division one prize of $375,205.58.
Confirming their win with a NSW Lotteries official this morning, the couple revealed they had no idea they’d won over $375,000.
“My god! Are you sure?” the winning woman questioned.
“Can you please repeat that? Did you say we won more than $375,000?
“I’m sort of numb!
“Um, I’d say we are very stunned!
“We don’t really believe it.
“I think we might have to go out for a nice dinner to celebrate.
“It really is just lovely!”
The husband and wife shared they’d need some time to decide how they will use their prize, but did have a few ideas.
“It’s a bit of a relief. We won’t have to worry about money so much,” she said.
“We might get a new car and do a few things we’ve been wanting to do for a while.
“We do want to sit on it for a bit and think about how we will spend it though.
“So who knows, there’s lots of things we could do!”
The winning System 9 entry was purchased at newsXpress Dapto, Shop G106, Dapto Mall, Princes Highway & Moombara Street, Dapto.

In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3965 on Saturday 20 July 2019 were 42, 12, 2, 18, 8 and 30, while the supplementary numbers were 39 and 14.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3965, three each from Victoria, Queensland and Western Australia, two from New South Wales and one in South Australia.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 216 so far this calendar year, including 61 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
