A visit to World Square may have inspired a trip around the world, after a Sydney player claimed their 1st prize of $200,000 in a recent Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw.
The Sydney ticket holder won the guaranteed 1st Prize of $200,000.00 in Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1166, drawn Wednesday 28 November 2018.
It will remain a mystery exactly how the winner plans to use their $200,000 prize, with the unregistered player deciding to remain completely anonymous, but their visit to World Square has opened up a world of possibilities.
The winning ticket was purchased at World News, Shop 9, K1 World Square Shopping Centre, 644 George Street, Sydney.
World News owner Jenny Jin said this major prize win has created a buzz inside their outlet.
“We’re all so incredibly excited,” she rejoiced.
“It’s been about three years since we sold a major prize so we knew one would be coming our way soon.
“It’s perfect timing for our customer leading up to Christmas.”
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said as the Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot continues to soar, the draws are selling out fast.
“Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot draw 1169 has now reached $29.32 million, generating a huge amount of interest in the raffle style draw,” she said.
“We can only imagine what the winner of draw 1166 will use their prize on. Many of our Lucky Lotteries top prize winners love the having the freedom to splurge on an incredible holiday, or put it toward their mortgage, some have even bought a boat!”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $29.32 million for draw 1169 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.67 million for draw 10259.
