A Fairfield shopper has started the working week with a spring in their step, after discovering they won division one in Saturday Lotto’s $20 million Superdraw.
The New South Wales player held one of the 12 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Lotto draw 3921, drawn Saturday 16 February 2019. Each entry took home a division one prize of $1,666,666.67.
However, how the newly minted millionaire plans to spend their Saturday Lotto windfall will forever remain a mystery as they have chosen to remain completely anonymous and celebrate in private.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said while we may never know how the Fairfield shopper plans to spend their prize we are sure it has changed their plans for 2019 and beyond.
“What better way to start the week than by discovering you are now millionaire!” she exclaimed.
“No doubt our winner’s plans for the year will change when their bank account balloons by a few more zeros!
“Other winners tell us they love to share their windfall with their families, go on overseas holidays, pay off their mortgages or buy a new home.
“However our winner chooses to enjoy their windfall we are sure it has changed their lives forever!”
The winner purchased their winning entry at Neeta City Newsagency, G22 Neeta City Shopping Centre, 54 Smart Street, Fairfield.
In 2018, Monday & Wednesday Lotto and Saturday Lotto created 194 millionaires across Australia.
The winning numbers in Saturday Lotto draw 3921 on Saturday 16 February 2019 were 27, 18, 19, 38, 43 and 26, while the supplementary numbers were 15 and 22.
Across Australia, there were 12 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 3921, including seven from Victoria, two each from New South Wales and Western Australia, and one from Tasmania.
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 248 so far this financial year, including 71 won by NSW Lotteries customers.
In the 12 months to 31 December 2018, there were 280 division one winning Saturday Lotto entries across the Lott’s jurisdictions, which collectively won more than $306.19 million.
