A Fairfield teacher still showed up to work this morning despite barely sleeping a wink after discovering her $1 million win in last night’s Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.
The Sydney resident held one of the two division one winning entries in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4183 on Wednesday 18 May 2022 and took home $1 million.
This morning, an official from The Lott reached out to the hardworking winner, who was just about to start work for the day.
“I’m perfect, thank you!” she laughed.
“I found out about my win last night. I just logged into my online The Lott account, and bam, there it was!
“There were a few cheers and tears. I was very emotional.
“I shared the news with my family as soon as I found out. They were so excited for me. There were lots of hugs and jumping up and down.
“I had a glass of wine to celebrate the win. I didn’t sleep at all last night. I was full of excitement and adrenaline!
“I’m still at work this morning. I’m a teacher, so I didn’t want to take the day off. The kids need me.
“I’ll go out for a nice dinner tonight, though.
“I’m going to use the money to pay off my home loan, spoil my kids, and share some with my family.
“It’s too overwhelming to plan what to do with the rest. I can barely believe I’m a millionaire now!”
