A generous Winston Hills dad who scored $100,000 in today’s Lucky Lotteries draw has wasted no time dedicating his life-enhancing win to the people who matter most to him – his children.

The western Sydney resident held the 1st Prize winning entry in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot, draw 11030, drawn Monday 21 July 2025. He looks forward to a clean $100,000.

When an official from The Lott called to confirm the winning news, the stunned man couldn’t help but burst into tears of joy.

“I’m just about in tears,” the winning man gasped when answering a phone call from a lottery official from The Lott.

“I never thought I could win the lottery. I’ve honestly never won anything in my entire life.

“This is unbelievable.

“My family, we’ve been going through tough times, so this is just great news.

“I don’t think this is going to sink in for a while. It’s a big shock.”

With a $100,000 prize heading his way, the humble man confessed that supporting his family would be his top priority.

“I’m a simple guy who doesn’t like to spend big,” he shared.

“This win will help my kids. Family is always first for us and my kids are everything to me.

“I can’t thank you enough.”

His winning entry of three random numbers was purchased at Winston Hills Newsagency, Shop 3, Winston Hills Mall, 180 Caroline Chisholm Drive, Winston Hills.

Winston Hills Newsagency owner John Leckie shared he was excited to hear his outlet had sold a winning ticket that would transform a local player's life.

“It’s always exciting when you sell a winning ticket and know you helped change a customer’s life,” he said.

“Whenever we sell a winning ticket, it gives the community a happy buzz. We’ll be sure to spread the good news in-store with balloons and posters.

“We’ve sold a number of winning tickets over the years - our biggest was a $30 million Oz Lotto ticket back in 2013.

Congratulations to our winner and all the best with your winnings.”

The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $10.24 million for draw 1708, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $890,003 for draw 11031.

In 2024, 147 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $52.2 million.

Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot and Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot are raffle-style games, which means there is a set number of tickets in each draw. As each ticket number is unique there is no sharing of prizes.

Each game has two draws – one that determines the winning numbers and one that determines the jackpot number. If the jackpot number matches one of the winning numbers, then the Jackpot Prize is won. If the jackpot number does not match one of the winning numbers, the Jackpot Prize will climb for the next draw.

Tickets can be purchased at any licenced lottery outlet, online from thelott.com or via The Lott mobile app.
