A Tarneit mum and dad are over the moon about their $860,000 TattsLotto win in the weekend’s draw and can’t wait to shower their kids and grandkids with love, laughter, and a few extra surprises.
The Melburnians held one of the six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4539, drawn Saturday 18 January 2025, and look forward to a total prize of $861,128.13. It’s the first major lottery win to land in Melbourne’s west in 2025.
The dynamic duo returned home from a weekend birthday party to uncover their own thrilling surprise – a bountiful boost to their bank account.
“We were hoping you would call to confirm the good news!” the winning husband laughed.
“It’s so very exciting. We got home from a birthday party, and I always check my TattsLotto ticket on the weekend.
“I said to my wife, ‘I think we’ve got six numbers on our ticket!’, and she immediately turned to me and replied with, ‘Don’t be stupid!’.
“I’ve played the same numbers for 40 years, and about 20 years ago, I decided to change my ticket type and add the number 45.
“We had some friends over on the weekend and some bubbly to celebrate.
“It’s actually a family syndicate of six – we’ll be sharing the win around with our children and grandchildren.
“Thank you very much!”
Their winning marked System 8 entry was purchased at Tarneit Central Nextra and Lotto, Shop 8, Tarneit Central Shopping Centre, 540 Derrimut Road, Tarneit.
The Tarneit Central Nextra and Lotto team said they were overjoyed to have sold a division one winning entry to a local customer and wished the winner all the very best.
The winning numbers in TattsLotto draw 4539 on 18 January 2025 were 19, 15, 45, 7, 11 and 34, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 42.
Across Australia, there were six division one winning entries in TattsLotto draw 4539 – three in Western Australia, and one each in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia .
The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 273 so far in FY25, including 101 won by Tatts customers.
