A Kawana woman is filled with excitement and joy as she plans to surprise her children with a relaxing getaway thanks to her recent $25,000 Instant Scratch-Its top prize win.

The Sunshine Coast resident’s winning $2 Confetti Cash ticket was purchased at Kawana News & Gifts, Shop 353, Kawana Shoppingworld, 119 Point Cartwright Road, Buddina.

When an official from The Lott reached out to confirm her prize, the cheerful woman revealed how she found her forgotten Instant Scratch-Its ticket buried at the bottom of a pile of receipts.

“It’s super exciting!” she cheered.

“I can’t believe I was the one to win one of the two top prizes on the ticket.

“I had the ticket sitting in a pile of receipts for the last eight weeks.

“Something told me to clear out the pile of receipts and that’s when I discovered the unscratched ticket.

“What a surprise! I tell you; my heart was pounding.

“I’m planning on surprising my two children with a relaxing getaway. They’re always working so hard, so it’ll be nice to spend some time together.

“I’m getting excited just thinking about it! It’s going to be wonderful!”
