A Burleigh Heads woman has been left awe-struck after a psychic prediction manifested into reality when she bagged $100,000 in yesterday’s Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw.
The Gold Coast local scored the guaranteed 1st Prize of $100,000 in Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot draw 10842, drawn Monday 18 March 2024.
The winning woman was oblivious to her newfound fortune when an official from The Lott called to surprise her with the life-enhancing news immediately after the draw.
“Oh, you’re kidding! One hundred thousand dollars?! Oh, good heavens. Pick me up!” she exclaimed in disbelief.
“I can’t believe it. I was told I was going to have some luck come to me spiritually.
“Seriously, I probably sound crazy, but a fortune teller told me so.
“I saw an ad online for a clairvoyant. I don’t normally go to them or see them, but for some reason, I felt inclined to.
“The whole reading was very accurate! It was very shocking, and I was excited when I heard luck would be coming my way.
“It was my first time playing Lucky Lotteries, and the only reason was because of the reading.”
When asked how she looked forward to using her Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot windfall, the winning woman admitted was too surprised to make any definite plans.
“It’s lifesaving. I’ll tell you that much,” she said.
“I’m retired and it’s not easy. I don’t have anything in particular, but this is going to help more than you know.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you! I’m over the moon!”
Her entry of six random numbers was purchased at Nextra Burleigh Town News, Shop 34-35 Stocklands, 149 West Burleigh Road, Burleigh Heads.
Nextra Burleigh Town News manager Alexis Heathcote said she and the team were ecstatic to have sold a winning ticket and had already been celebrating with customers.
“It’s wonderful news! We’re thrilled to have sold a 1st Prize-winning entry,” she said.
“It’s always great to hear that our customer has won a major prize. In 2018, we sold a $60 million winning ticket in Powerball and we’ve had plenty of others over the years.
“We’ve already started decorating in the store and telling our customers the amazing news.
“A huge congratulations to our winning local and thank you for supporting us! We hope to see you continue to visit us in-store!”
Burleigh Heads The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $14.9 million for draw 1655, while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot prize is now $630,000 for draw 10843.
In 2023, 117 Lucky Lotteries 1st Prize and Jackpot winning entries across Australia won more than $20.6 million.
